We are now looking for a Production Coordinator with experience in coordination, project management, or production planning who thrives in a role with many contact points and close collaboration with various parts of the organization. Do you want to work on tasks that ensure we contribute to making Sweden and the world safer? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
About the role
As the overarching Production Coordinator, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for the management, planning, and follow-up of the Test and Evaluation (T&E) business area's combined production portfolio in accordance with the organization's goals. You will develop and improve working methods to provide management with the decision support needed for prioritization and trade-offs when resources need to be allocated within T&E. This includes further developing key performance indicators for production and collaborating with T&E's departments, other business areas at FMV, and the Swedish Armed Forces.
Furthermore, you coordinate planning and follow-up work from a production perspective. You serve as T&E's main contact point towards the Swedish Armed Forces for incoming production orders and analyze and compile materials for prioritization and trade-offs between departments when resources need to be distributed. You are also responsible for preparations, consultations, and the creation of governing documents related to the area.
The role also includes coordinating other production coordinators within T&E.
The role entails significant responsibility and offers good opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and collaboration within production control.
The position is located in Stockholm, and travel both domestically and internationally may occur.
About you
We are looking for you who have a relevant academic degree, officer training, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have experience in independently driving and executing complex tasks, as well as relevant experience in planning and follow-up. Furthermore, you have previously worked in a role as a coordinator, assignment leader, project manager, or in a similar function. To succeed in the role, it is necessary that you have experience working in various support systems and decision models for the execution of production. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good skills in the Office package. A B-class driver's license is also a requirement.
It is meritorious if you have experience or knowledge within the defense sector and defense materiel. We would like you to have worked with business development and have experience from the public sector, preferably state operations. If you have previously worked with budgeting, we see this as an advantage.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences and are looking for you who have good cooperation skills, are flexible, and enjoy working together with others to achieve common goals. You have a solution-oriented and analytical approach, as well as the ability to make well-founded decisions even in complex situations. Furthermore, you are goal- and result-oriented, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive the work forward in a structured manner. We also see that you have good leadership skills and the ability to create engagement and trust in collaboration with others.
