Job Description
Do you want to help develop systems for statistical production that form the basis for important decisions in both politics and business? Do you want to develop alongside knowledgeable colleagues and have the opportunity to contribute to important societal projects? Here, you will belong to the IT department in Örebro, with approximately 140 engaged colleagues, and be responsible for the systems that enable this statistical production. In a world where it is becoming increasingly difficult to know which information to trust, our mission to steer towards the future using facts is more important than ever.
We are now looking for 1–3 system developers for our IT development unit, which works with both maintenance and new development. Here, you will develop and further develop our systems, primarily in .NET and web technologies, but also with other technologies such as SQL. We are looking for you who have experience in these areas and who like to drive the work forward, while sharing your knowledge with others and absorbing theirs.

Qualifications and Merits
We want you to have:
- A degree in Data Engineering, Systems Science, or equivalent at least a 3-year higher education degree that we assess as equivalent
- Work experience (in addition to courses and internships within education) in:
- Development in C#.Net
- Development in SQL
- Development in Blazor and/or React
- A collaboration tool for system development such as Azure DevOps Server or Git
- Good ability to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish
- Work experience with agile methods as a working approach
We consider it meritorious if you have work experience working with:
- Development in Javascript/Typescript
- Entity Framework
- Digital accessibility and applying WCAG
- Queue management systems such as RabbitMQ
- Development in Python or R
- Machine learning models in deployed end-user systems (this is seen as particularly meritorious)
- System development within a larger and complex organization, where collaboration between different roles and functions is a central part

Employment Conditions
Employment type: Permanent position.
This position is located at the IT/Development unit in Örebro. Based on the business's conditions, there is an opportunity to work some time from home.
The employment is permanent and usually begins with a six-month probationary period. The start date will be agreed upon.
This position is security-classified, so we will conduct a security investigation with register control before making a decision on employment.
