Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential environments near the sea, and good communication links. Hallernaskolan F-6 is a relatively newly built school that has grown gradually and was completed through grade 6 prior to 2021. The school has 14 classes in grades F-6, four after-school care departments, and an after-school club. Hallernaskolan 7-9 was completed in 2023 and has 18 classes. Hallernaskolan F-6 and 7-9 are located next to each other and share certain facilities.
At Hallernaskolan, every individual is given the opportunity to grow through knowledge, joy, and security. The staff is present, engaged, inspiring, and confirms and guides the children. Learning takes place in an enjoyable and challenging way through experiences and participation. Through the school's working methods, children are given tools to stand for what they think, feel, say, and do.
The outdoor environment invites to creative play and activities, which is utilized daily both during school hours and leisure time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a pedagogue in after-school care, you conduct education in after-school care based on the planning you have been involved in creating, in accordance with our governing documents. You contribute to systematic quality work in after-school care.
You participate in the work team based on your role as a pedagogue in after-school care.
You vary your teaching and adapt to the group so that all students learn and develop based on their needs and conditions. Working as a pedagogue in after-school care is about constantly developing yourself and the activity based on the students we meet.
You will work as a resource in the classroom during the mornings and work in the after-school care in the afternoons.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be the person we are looking for, you must have a positive, flexible, and solution-focused basic outlook. You are secure in yourself with good self-insight, are a team player, but also have the ability to work independently when the task requires it. You should enjoy planning and creating activities for and together with students.
As a pedagogue in after-school care, you have a pedagogical education at post-secondary level or equivalent as assessed by the employer. You can, for example, hold a childcare education, student assistant education, after-school leader education, or other pedagogical education, such as health pedagogue, social pedagogue, or similar.
For this role, you are a present pedagogue with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You have qualities that include both structure and creativity, and you are clear towards students, parents, and colleagues. It is important that you are secure in your professional role.
It is important that you are engaged and want to be part of the student's development and learning. You have a positive attitude and approach towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You should be a secure adult role model with the ability to create calm in the activity and meet all our students. You take initiative and responsibility for the work moving forward, whether you work alone or together with others.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
An extract from the criminal record is mandatory; this and teacher certification must be brought to the first interview.
