Personal Assistant Wanted – Summer Job Starting in June

Imagine a summer job where you hang out with someone who is always positive, always on the go, and always makes people feel comfortable. That’s who you’ll be working with. He is 19 years old, loves sports (Hammarby is life), bowls, plays ping pong, works out at the gym, eats out, and hangs out with friends. He follows the Football World Cup with full passion and is just as happy in the city as he is at home playing video games. He uses a wheelchair, so you will help with transfers and certain practical tasks – but above all, you are his support in all the fun things he wants to do.

Starts in June in Linköping, with the possibility of working the whole or most of the summer.

You will be employed by a non-profit, non-profit-making assistance cooperative where the person always comes before profit. Here you work closely with the person you assist and make a real difference in daily life.

About the Position

As a personal assistant, you are a support in both daily life and leisure time. You help where needed and ensure the day runs smoothly.

You will mainly:

• Help with personal care, routines, meals, and transfers
• Support with wheelchair transfers and other practical tasks
• Join activities, training, bowling, ping pong, and sports events
• Be a support at home, in the city, and in social situations
• Help create structure in daily life
• Work based on the user's instructions

The work is based from the home in Linköping. Shifts can be day, evening, or weekend.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is secure, calm, and easy to cooperate with. You do not need previous experience – the most important thing is that you are the right person.

We believe you:

• Are over 18 years old
• Have good energy and a friendly attitude
• Are responsible and punctual
• Like to be active and join various activities
• Are comfortable helping with wheelchair transfers (introduction provided)
• Speak Swedish fluently

Personal suitability and chemistry are the most important factors.

Employment Conditions

• Employment according to collective agreement
• Hourly wage
• Part-time during the summer, schedule in consultation with the supervisor
• Introduction and supervision included
• Opportunity for continued hourly employment after the summer
