Dalsjöskolan is a school where staff and students thrive and work towards good academic results. Dalsjöskolan is a grades 4–9 school with 630 students and approximately 100 staff members. We have three parallel classes in the lower secondary stage and six in the upper secondary stage. The school is a workplace with a positive atmosphere, and we work together based on current research. We have a well-functioning student health team consisting of a special education teacher, school nurse, school psychologist, and counselor who work preventively in close collaboration with the staff.

Dalsjöskolan also has a municipal special education group for grades 4–9.

As a mathematics teacher, you plan, implement, and evaluate your subject's teaching. You are part of a teaching team, where there are opportunities to reflect on your work, receive support when needed, and solve challenges together.

You have high and positive expectations for all students and help them structure their daily lives to facilitate learning. Your approach is motivating, and you work with significant student influence to give students various opportunities to develop. You enjoy meeting young people with different backgrounds and prerequisites. You demonstrate clear leadership, and your teaching is planned, implemented, and evaluated based on the students' needs and prerequisites.

At Dalsjöskolan, we share responsibility for the students, so the duties also include participating in homework supervision, holiday school, and serving as a recess monitor and lunch monitor. The work also involves contact with guardians.

You, as an applicant, are a certified teacher with the eligibility to teach mathematics. If you are eligible to teach an additional subject, there is an opportunity to combine teaching based on the school's needs.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of and experience with children with neuropsychiatric functional variations.

As a person, you are calm and confident and have a low-affective approach to interactions. You have good leadership qualities and are skilled at interacting and communicating with other people. You easily create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You help students believe in themselves through continuous feedback and are attentive to your students' opinions and needs. We also see that you are good at collaborating, as there is continuous exchange with colleagues in subject and work teams.
