We are looking for an engaged vocational teacher within healthcare and social care who wants a exciting, varied, and meaningful job. Here, you will have the opportunity to teach, develop courses, and strengthen collaboration between education and working life.

Responsibilities

In the role of vocational teacher, you will teach subjects within healthcare and social care. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on students' individual needs and prerequisites. You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and external actors.

The position includes an extended coordination responsibility where you will:

• coordinate tasks and collaboration with social services and other external actors
• be responsible for coordinating workplace-based learning placements (APL)
• plan, conduct, and develop industry councils together with working life

We are looking for you who are flexible, engaged, and have good digital competence as well as an interest in using technical aids in teaching.

Within Adult Education, you will be part of different work groups, for example teams for the development of our courses and our care lab. Since the organization's tasks constantly change based on needs and demand, other tasks may be added.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are trained as a vocational teacher within healthcare and social care or have corresponding experience and knowledge. If you do not meet the educational requirements, you are expected to be willing to start the vocational teacher program.

As a person, you are flexible, outgoing, and independent in your work. You have good cooperation skills and feel confident in creating and maintaining contacts with both students, colleagues, and external partners.

We would like you to be creative, have the ability to think new thoughts, and want to contribute to the development of the courses within Adult Education.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

Merits

• Qualification in the subject area of psychology
• Experience working in psychiatry and LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments)
• Experience collaborating with social services or other authorities
• Experience in coordinating tasks
• Nursing degree

About the position

Permanent position, seasonal position, full-time.

Start date according to agreement.

Your placement is at the Learning Center (Acusticum) where we work activity-based. Possibilities for some remote work exist.
