Vadstena's Integration and Labour Market Unit (VIA) is part of the Social Services Department's Individual and Family Care. Within the Individual and Family Care organization, there are both authority offices and service providers. The authority office handles regulatory matters regarding children, young people, adults, persons with disabilities, transport services, and housing adaptations. The service providers consist of an integration and labour market unit as well as an Advice and Support Unit with family and addiction reception, residential support, and daily activities.

Job Description
The Integration and Labour Market Unit is responsible for all labour market initiatives in Vadstena Municipality and offers participants various forms of work training, work rehabilitation, and practice within different internal operations as well as municipal practice placements.

The basic task of the position is to work as a team leader for participants within the operation. As a team leader, you are responsible for an operation where participants are offered the opportunity to test the conditions for moving forward towards work or studies. With a pedagogical approach, you are responsible for leading and supporting the participants in the daily practical work. You work with a focus on participants getting to train developing various skills and that participants get to work developmentally with the needs that have been made visible in their individual action plans. You are responsible for documenting in accordance with current documentation requirements. Together with labour market case workers, you are involved in following up with participants and assigning social secretaries on how the initiative is working as well as the planning forward regarding rehabilitation.

In addition to the basic task, there is an extended responsibility with coordinating tasks within the work group. In the role, you function as a support to the unit manager and work closely with them on issues regarding environmental scanning as well as quality and development work within both the labour market and integration areas. You have a coordinating responsibility for the daily work in the work group and are responsible for planning, distribution of cases, and some leadership of colleagues. You also conduct case reviews and coordinate activities and planning for participants together with the work group.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have an academic education in social work, treatment, rehabilitation, or pedagogy, as well as several years of documented experience from work in support, treatment, and/or pedagogical operations. The work requires that you have a B driver's license, good computer skills, and can communicate well in Swedish in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have broad knowledge of work rehabilitation and labour market issues. It is meritorious if you have previous experience of leading a staff group. To manage the work, team leader experience is meritorious and personal maturity is important. It is meritorious if you have experience of documentation based on the Social Services Act as well as experience of the operation system VIVA.
