Ringelskolan is a grades 4-6 school in central Arvidsjaur, located close to the swimming hall, sports hall, and ice rink, and within walking distance of the town center. The school is situated in a beautiful natural setting, inviting outdoor activities.

Job Description

As a student assistant, you work targeted towards individual students but are also available as support within the student group. You follow the student throughout the school day, in both teaching situations and during breaks, providing support to ensure the school day proceeds in a reassuring manner. You are available but do not anticipate every need; instead, you give the student the opportunity to solve situations independently when possible.

You build a close relationship with the student to provide security in their schooling while maintaining professional distance. You have a low-affective approach to interactions and are clear in your communication. You collaborate with teachers, student health services, and other relevant personnel with the student's best interests at heart. As a person, you are flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

You have completed the Child and Youth Sector program or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and the ability to interpret signals and stay one step ahead. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Other Information

Upon employment, you are required to present a certificate of no objection from the Swedish Police Authority (register extract from the criminal record) according to the Education Act (2010:800 Chapter 2, Section 31).

Holiday or interim service according to agreement.
