ABOUT THE POSITION

At Inre Kraft, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Kiruna. We are currently looking for 2 assistants for the following positions: 1 full-time (100%) + 1 part-time position.

The working hours are as follows:

• 06:30–15:30

• 15:30–06:30

• 06:30–06:30 (24-hour shifts)

Flexibility for the right person: There is room for individual schedule adjustments for these positions, provided it fits the overall needs of the business.

Start date is by agreement. We would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a man in his 30s who lives in his own apartment in central Kiruna. During weekdays, he works at Coop and Savo. He has a small assistant group consisting of 4 personal assistants and his parents. You will work alone with the client, except when he is traveling, in which case two assistants work simultaneously.

This is a happy and positive man who enjoys carrying firewood, building with Lego, baking, walking in the forest and in town, boating and snowmobiling, listening to music, going to the cinema/concerts, eating at restaurants, staying in the cabin, traveling with the motorhome, bowling, swimming, going to the gym, staying in hotels, and much more. He has his own car which you, as an assistant, drive. Therefore, it is desirable that you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement as the client has approved transport service.

Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism and is blind.

Even though he can do a lot already, he has a curiosity and desire to continue developing and learning new things. Therefore, it is very important that you can work "with your hands behind your back" and refrain from taking over tasks he can do or wants to learn to do!

The tasks include:

• Support and guide in daily routines, household chores, and activities.

• Assist and guide in personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.

Since the client cannot see, his surroundings use verbal communication and symbols to guide him. Therefore, it is required that you, as an assistant, have very good knowledge of the Swedish language.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

A large part of your work involves helping and guiding the client in everyday situations and social interactions, as well as helping the client understand his surroundings. You should be good at reading and analyzing other individuals' needs and situations. We consider it an advantage if you have prior experience with autism.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language.

• Driver's license, so you can drive the client's car.

• Previous experience working with autism.

Employment level: 1 full-time (100%) + 1 part-time position.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
