Arvidsjaur Municipality is now seeking a Leadership Support role to work closely with the School Director and Principals in the school's upcoming transformation work.

About the Assignment

As Leadership Support, you play a central role in supporting the School Director and Principals in strategic development and change work. The assignment aims to strengthen the leadership's ability to drive development, create consensus, and ensure that changes are implemented in a structured, inclusive, and goal-oriented manner. The work takes place in close collaboration with the operational leadership and is characterized by dialogue, analysis, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

  • Supporting the School Director and Principals in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of change and transformation work
  • Acting as process support in development initiatives, e.g., regarding organization, working methods, and leadership and governance
  • Contributing with analysis material, structure, and follow-up related to goals, results, and quality
  • Preparing, leading, and documenting meetings, processes, and development initiatives

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is either an experienced educator with experience in school development and change work, or has a background as a process or project manager.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Relevant academic degree
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Good knowledge of the school's mission
  • Good analytical and administrative skills
  • Experience in leading and collaborating with managers

The Position

The position is 100% and is a project employment covering the school year 2026/2027 with the possibility of extension.

Start date: 2026-08-03 or according to agreement.

Submission of a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required prior to employment.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
