ABOUT THE POSITION
Bättre Assistans is part of Inre Kraft, and we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Sunderbyn. We offer a summer temporary position spanning from week 26 to week 32. This role is perfect for you who wish to combine work with vacation, as the working hours are distributed as follows:
- June: 18 hours
- July: 60 hours
- August: 18 hours
The working hours are primarily scheduled during daytime on weekdays, with occasional evening shifts and two weekends every three months, as follows:
- 09:00–15:00
- 15:00–21:00
Start date is Monday of week 26. We would appreciate it if you could attend the introduction in May and June.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a man in his mid-30s who enjoys physical activity. He likes bowling, playing games, and walking. Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism.
Duties include:
- Support with daily routines, such as household chores.
- Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.
- Communication and interpretation of the surrounding world.

REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language.
MERITS
- Experience with autism.
- Experience with low-affective handling (calm and non-reactive approach).
Employment level: Summer temporary position with varying hours, weeks 26–32.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits according to collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a background check (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the background check from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
