RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operations and construction work within streets and water/sewage (VA), which includes among other things pipe laying, road construction, and fine grading.
• Some form of emergency preparedness work, primarily during winter, may be included in the role.
• You are expected to be able to work both in a team and individually, depending on the assignments we receive.
• You will document the work you perform digitally via mobile phone or computer.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Vocational certificate in pipe laying/construction and some years of work experience.
• A driver's license for manual passenger cars is required, and some machine experience is meritorious.
• Other relevant training such as Work on the Road, muff and butt welding of plastic pipes, chainsaw, brush cutter, electrical safety, underground cable laying, asbestos and asbestos-cement work, hot work, etc., are all meritorious, and many are required to perform a significant portion of the jobs we carry out.
