Job Description

Do you want a varied and socially beneficial job? We at the City of Landskrona are looking for a new driver for the Streets/Infrastructure unit.

You will be one of two drivers who, together, serve several departments and operations with transports, clearing operations, and preparatory infrastructure work. The work is varied and largely driven by season, needs, and current projects in the city – perfect for you who thrive with variation and responsibility.

You will work on behalf of several departments and operations in the city, and your duties include, among other things:

• Pick up debris and branches in our parks and green areas.
• Transport materials to the city's events and arrangements.
• Transport barrier materials to various projects in the city.
• Participate in preparatory infrastructure work and transports between the city's operations.

This position may also include winter readiness duties, such as snow clearing and anti-icing. Other readiness duties involving weekend work may also occur.

Qualifications

Formal requirements for the position are:

• Category C driver's license.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Crane operator certificate for cranes over 18 tons/meters.
• Education: Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate), Work on Road, and upper secondary education in construction/infrastructure or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience driving trucks with cranes over 18 meters and operating hydraulic attachments.

In addition to these requirements, it is meritorious if you have operator certificates for wheel loaders and excavators, as well as experience with infrastructure work and winter readiness.

A six-month probationary period may apply.
