The Street Unit is part of Technical and Urban Environment, and we are now looking for an engaged employee. Together with a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's pedestrian, bicycle, and road networks, as well as public spaces.

Your work involves working both independently and in a group. Together, we take responsibility for working efficiently and delivering good results.

Your tasks include:

• Operation and maintenance of public spaces, such as streets, cycle paths, and square areas.
• Minor construction work and repairs, such as paving, excavation, and sign work.
• Slip and snow clearing to ensure accessibility.
• Customer contact as a central part of the daily work, where you meet residents and create a positive dialogue.
• Collaborate with various people and areas within the department's mission.
• Renovation of benches and other ground equipment.
• Various types of machine operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are service-oriented and enjoy working outdoors. You have good communication skills and meet the city's residents with a smile. You view varied tasks positively and are flexible during the workday. We see that you are experienced or educated in the field, and that you can handle physically demanding work. It is important that you fit both the role and the group. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

Requirements:

• Category B driver's license
• Experience and/or relevant education
• Ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Merits:

• Chainsaw driver's license
• Professional certificate
• Category C driver's license with YKB (professional competence certificate)
• Category BE driver's license
• Certificate/preliminary certificate for wheel loaders, excavators, and forklifts

A 6-month probationary period may apply.
