Anesthesia Nurse for a Growing Plastic Surgery Practice in Malmö

A well-known plastic surgery practice in Malmö is expanding and is now seeking an experienced anesthesia nurse to strengthen the team.

The practice performs planned, elective surgery in a highly specialized environment with an experienced multidisciplinary team and two operating rooms.

 

About the Role

As an anesthesia nurse, you are responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of anesthesia for planned plastic surgery within the framework of current prescriptions and guidelines.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with anesthesiologists and the surgical team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Preoperative assessment and risk evaluation
  • Planning and execution of anesthesia (local, regional, and intravenous sedation/TIVA)
  • Intraoperative monitoring of vital parameters
  • Airway management and pharmacological optimization
  • Postoperative monitoring and pain management
  • Documentation according to current regulations
  • Quality work and compliance with Swedish regulations
  • Readiness to handle acute situations and complications

The work is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with surgeries four days a week.

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed nurse with Swedish registration
  • Specialist degree in anesthesia nursing
  • At least two years of clinical experience as an anesthesia nurse
  • Experience in surgical practice (experience in plastic surgery or day surgery is a plus)
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

The practice is located in central Malmö, just a few minutes' walk from Malmö Central Station.
