Do you want to help develop preschool education and make a difference for children every day? We are looking for a Lead Preschool Teacher who wants to take a leading role in pedagogical development work and, together with colleagues, create a safe, fun, and educational preschool with high quality.

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you drive and develop the preschool's operations together with colleagues and the principal, based on the goals of the curriculum. Together, you work to create a shared vision of teaching and learning processes.

In this role, you lead and support colleagues in developing teaching based on scientific foundation and proven experience. You keep up to date with current research relevant to the preschool. You are also responsible for leading and developing platforms for collegial learning based on the organization's needs and have an extended responsibility in systematic quality work.

The assignment includes:

• leading development work that strengthens children's learning and development
• being a role model in teaching and education
• following up, analyzing, and developing teaching together with the work team
• contributing to ensuring teaching maintains high and equal quality

The Lead Preschool Teacher is required to conduct teaching in a children's group for at least 50% of the position's scope with the aim of developing teaching.

Our preschool is located in Frölunda, in an area close to nature, Ruddalen's outdoor recreation area, and the city's amenities. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher and have at least six years of well-documented work experience in preschool education. You can demonstrate your experience from one or more employments through documentation. You have a very good ability to systematically and continuously follow up, analyze, and develop teaching so that it promotes children's learning and development. You work actively with systematic quality work and drive the preschool's development towards set goals in collaboration with colleagues and the principal.

You contribute knowledge about research and proven experience and have the ability to translate theory into practice. You lead collegial learning and support and challenge colleagues from a scientific approach. You have a developed analytical ability and create engagement and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You see opportunities for changes that promote the development of education and teaching.

It is meritorious if you have achieved merit level 2 within the professional program or have started studying courses and/or participated in merit-based practice-oriented research to qualify for level two. It is also meritorious if you have experience with systemic strength-based approaches, language- and knowledge-developing methods (SOKA), and play-responsive teaching in preschool. We would also appreciate if you have experience in developing outdoor environments and conducting teaching in outdoor settings that strengthen children's learning and development.
