We are looking for a Security Specialist for a government agency.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Gothenburg.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves working as a senior security specialist within the National Train Control System (NTLS) project, responsible for specialist support, advice, and leadership regarding security protection and information security matters. The assignment includes supporting ongoing initiatives and projects, collaborating with the Swedish Transport Administration's security organization, and dialog and review of suppliers linked to the train control system. The role also includes knowledge transfer to the Swedish Transport Administration's employees and the development of working methods within the security area.

Responsibilities

• Support in the implementation of information security classification and risk analyses
• Implementation and preparation of security protection assessments
• Security protection planning
• Training and information to those involved in the assignment
• Develop working methods
• Follow up on incident management related to the assignment's security protection
• Collaborate with other security-related functions within the assignment, such as IT architects and IT security specialists
• Dialog with and review of suppliers providing development, management, operational support measures, and other actions regarding the train control system
• Ensure organizational and functional independence to prevent conflicts of interest and bias
• Transfer of knowledge to the Swedish Transport Administration's employees regarding the tasks performed within the assignment

Requirements (NOTE, mandatory)

• Academic education (180 ECTS credits) in the relevant field, or other education combined with experience. The Swedish Transport Administration assesses what is considered equivalent/relevant.
• Have knowledge and experience of the Swedish public administration structure and roles. The experience must have covered at least 800 hours and not be older than three (3) years.
• Have knowledge of the authorities' roles in peace, crisis, and war.
• Have knowledge of Swedish crisis and war legislation.
• Have experience of collaboration between public actors. The experience must have covered at least 800 hours and not be older than three (3) years.
• Have good knowledge of standards, regulations, and general advice in the field of information and cyber security regarding vital societal functions, as well as protection and security protection legislation. This through documented education and/or work experience of at least 10 years.
• Unhindered and at a professional level, master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• As project manager/assignment leader, independently led and carried out at least two (2) analyses/investigations/studies at a surveillance authority or county administrative board. The implementation must have covered at least 300 hours/assignment during the last three (3) years.
• Knowledge regarding security clearance with associated administration (interviews, documentation, etc.).
• Knowledge regarding administration and preparation of security protection agreements.
• Have worked during the last 3 years with the introduction, development, or maintenance of security protection and information security within a state authority. The work must have been carried out or ongoing within the public sector and at a central or regional level. You must have demonstrated good communication and collaboration skills within the assignment. You must have worked on at least one (1) assignment covering at least 1600 hours according to security protection legislation from 2019-04-01. Security Protection Act (2018:585) with ordinance (2018:658) and the Security Service's current guidelines.
• Have experience of at least one assignment in vital societal functions such as infrastructure, transport, electricity supply, or similar. The assignment must have been carried out during the last three (3) years.
• Have understanding and experience from at least one assignment where signal protection work, signal protection systems/measures were included.
