About the position

At Olivia, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Motala. The position is 95%, covering both weekdays and weekends. As an assistant, you will mostly work independently, with double assistance for approximately 1–2 hours per day. Start date is by agreement, and we would be happy if you could start the introduction immediately.

The client prefers female assistants.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 09:00–21:00

About the client

The client is a 73-year-old woman who enjoys gardening. Our client needs your help as an assistant as she uses an electric wheelchair, has a tracheostomy, and uses a respirator.

The duties include:

• Helping with daily routines such as household chores
• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, transfers, and meals
• Supporting the client with interests such as gardening

REQUIREMENTS:

• Manual driver's license
• Experience in care or healthcare
• Fluent Swedish

Employment level: 1 position at 95%

Start date: Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID and submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both certificates of no criminal record and certificates from the suspicion register. The certificate is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
