We are now looking for personal assistants for our client in Tomelilla:

• Position at 90-100%, evenings and weekends.
• Position every other weekend, 08:00-15:00 or 15:00-23:00.
• Hourly substitutes who can work during the absence of regular assistants, including during the summer.

The working hours are largely in the evenings on weekdays from 15:00 to 23:00 and on weekends from 08:00 to 15:00 or 15:00 to 23:00. The client lives in Tomelilla but spends part of his summer at a campsite in Nybrostrand. We are looking for both women and men of various ages; please specify which position you are applying for.

About the Client

Our client is a young man in his final term of adapted upper secondary school; he lives with his parents in Tomelilla. Our client has a diagnosis within the autism spectrum and an intellectual disability. He has a high need for supervision and requires support and help with most aspects of his daily life. He is an active young man who enjoys going for walks and other activities outside the home. During the summer months, he spends his free time at a campsite outside Ystad, and you will work where the client is located. Therefore, it is important that you have a driver's license and access to your own car to commute to work. Medical tasks are included, such as administering insulin.

Our client has a dog, so you must not be allergic or afraid of dogs. The client may experience epileptic seizures; experience in this area is a plus.

Who You Are

We want you to be adaptable. Sometimes you need to take a step back and wait, but often you need to be active in motivating the client to participate in various activities. You need to retain a youthful spirit and be positive and cheerful; offering yourself fully can be the key to resolving difficult situations that may arise at work. You must be able to speak and write Swedish fluently. You need a driver's license to travel to Nybrostrand during the summer.
