Job Description

We are now seeking preschool teachers for some of our preschools in Skövde Municipality.

The positions are both permanent and temporary (vacancies). Please specify in your application which type of position you are interested in.

In the role of a preschool teacher, you work with the curriculum as the basis for daily operations and have overall responsibility for ensuring that the curriculum's guidelines are followed. You are responsible for adapting methods, content, and interactions based on each child's specific prerequisites. In your work, you have access to digital tools that can be used as support in teaching.

At the preschools, we work in teams where we have close collaboration in a collegial learning process. Together with other colleagues, you create conditions for children's learning. Your work contributes to creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for our children, and you are an important part of the children's daily life and development.

Our operations are based on continuous cooperation and development of education, which means it is important that you also have good collaboration skills in relation to colleagues, children, parents, and other partners both within and outside your own organization.

Qualifications

You must be a certified preschool teacher or alternatively a certified teacher for early childhood with a focus on preschool. You are a curious and co-researching educator with a positive attitude who plans education based on children's needs and the preschool curriculum. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you have experience working in a preschool, we view this as meritorious.

Submission of a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is a requirement for employment.

Employment type and duration

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.

To begin working in preschools, schools, after-school centers, and other pedagogical activities, you are required to show a certificate of good conduct. The certificate is valid for one year and can be ordered from the National Police Board (www.polisen.se (https://www.polisen.se)).

Anyone who has not shown a certificate of good conduct cannot be employed, engaged, or admitted to the operations according to current legal requirements.
