Who are we?

In the autumn of 2019, we started a completely new school in the Bråvalla area and moved the vocational programs from Ebersteinska Gymnasium here. Bråvalla Gymnasium is an educational center for vocational training and is a creative and modern school filled with the latest technology.

The school has approximately 800 students within a large number of vocational programs. Among other things, five national vocational programs, introductory programs, and vocational programs within adapted upper secondary school.

Bråvalla Gymnasium is a new and modern upper secondary school for students who are interested in technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving. Here, students receive a vocational diploma with the opportunity to continue their studies.

Your responsibilities

The position involves supporting students with special needs, both in teaching and during breaks. You support students theoretically in the classroom, practically in the workshop, and in relations with other students and adults throughout the school day.

You collaborate with pedagogically responsible teachers and special educators to shape teaching and the school day based on the students' needs. You will use the school's digital platforms and learning tools daily and will primarily work with students within the Vehicle and Transport program.

As a resource pedagogue, you will be part of the program's student health team.

Who are you?

You should be a secure adult with experience working with young people. We are targeting you who have experience working within vehicles and transport.

Most importantly, we want you to have experience in workshop work related to vehicles. Our students also need support in theoretical subjects such as Swedish and English, so a completed upper secondary education is required.

As a person, you are outgoing, enjoy contact with students, and have good collaboration skills. You are secure, stable, and distinguish between the personal and professional.

You relate in a listening and humble way in your collaboration with others. You motivate others and create engagement and participation.

You are a knowledge resource and try to find new paths together with your colleagues to promote students' learning. You consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and have the ability to support students for a good learning environment with peace and security.
