We are looking for personal assistants for a boy who will soon turn 9 years old in Borlänge. As an assistant, you are expected to provide support in the boy's daily life. You are safe, attentive, and responsive to the boy's needs and communication. As an assistant, you are responsible for contributing to a safe, structured, and understandable daily life where the boy has the opportunity to develop based on his prerequisites.

The role includes, among other things, pool training, which means that as an assistant, you need to have good physical strength and be comfortable working actively in the water together with him.

Knowledge and interest in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) are prioritized with the boy. Previous experience is meritorious, but you will also receive training and introduction based on the needs of the role. The work also involves handling tube feeding, and training is provided as needed.

It is important that you master Swedish well in both speech and writing to be able to communicate with the boy, his family, and other contacts, as well as to document.

You will receive an introduction and ongoing competence development based on the needs of the role.

The chemistry between you, the boy, and the family is very important, and therefore we place great emphasis on your personality in the recruitment process. Previous experience in personal assistance, working with children, AAC, or care and social services is meritorious but not a requirement – the right personality and commitment are most important.

As an assistant, you are expected to perform your duties where the employer is currently located.

Employment type: Hourly employment initially with the possibility of a permanent position.

Working hours: Afternoons/evenings and daytime during weekends and school holidays.

You need to have a valid BankID and be prepared to use this in the role.
