What We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking an engaged support assistant for our daily activity center, Wurzels, on a 75% basis.

The work takes place primarily outdoors in a courtyard setting, where you will supervise our participants in various tasks such as animal care, wood handling, carpentry, concrete casting, and gardening. Therefore, knowledge or experience in one or more of these areas is considered an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is driven, responsible, and practical. You must be able to work independently, take initiative, and possess strong collaborative skills. Basic computer literacy is desirable as documentation and planning are part of the role.

It is a requirement that you are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska) or have other education deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience working with our target group, as well as knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, low-affective interaction, motivational interviewing, and sign support, is considered an advantage. Since the organization uses a car in daily operations, a valid driver's license is preferred.

About Wurzels

Wurzels is a daily activity center for individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who have decisions under the LSS Act (Swedish Social Services Act). Our goal is to offer participants meaningful engagement based on individual wishes and needs. We strive to enhance the participants' involvement and independence.

Wurzels is located outside of Linghem, and the team consists of two support assistants, one of whom serves as the team leader.

Start Date

The position starts on August 3rd or according to agreement.
