The Faculty of Economics at Lund University is an internationally renowned business school with the so-called triple accreditation. The Faculty of Economics has close cooperation with companies and authorities both nationally and internationally. The International Office works broadly with internationalization in many forums, where the Faculty of Economics' exchange program constitutes the largest part of the operations. The total number of outgoing students is approximately 400 per year to some of our 130 partner universities. The Faculty of Economics also receives an equal number of incoming students each year.

We are now looking for a staff member to join our team.

Responsibilities

You will participate in the administration of student exchanges within the Faculty of Economics' exchange program. You will work in close contact with employees throughout the university and will be one of five staff members at the Faculty of Economics' International Office.

Some examples of common tasks include, in collaboration with colleagues in the International Office, organizing and conducting information meetings for outgoing and incoming exchange students, general student service for exchange students, course registrations, updating websites and our course pages in Canvas, handling applications in the mobility system Solemove, statistical follow-ups, information to partner universities, staffing the student reception, and general administrative work regarding, among other things, credit transfers and certificates.

Other tasks include contacting partner universities and other departments at the Faculty of Economics, representing the International Office in various networks and forums, and handling practical details before and during the arrival of international students.

The work is service-oriented and involves many contacts with students and employees, including presentations to student groups.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • We are looking for you with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • You must have very good oral and written language skills in both Swedish and English, as these are our main working languages.
  • Experience in qualified administrative work and good experience in working with international issues.
  • You must be good at collaborating, communicating, and giving presentations, as well as being interested in people from different cultures.
  • You must be detail-oriented and have an easy time working both independently and in a team.
  • You thrive in a role where you contribute to developing and improving administrative methods and routines as the needs of the operations change.
  • You have a good ability to structure and prioritize your work even during periods of high workload, tight deadlines, and multiple parallel tasks.

Merits

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economic fields.
  • Experience working in the higher education sector.
  • Experience working with international issues within the higher education sector.
  • Experience with study administration systems such as LADOK, Solemove, and Canvas.

Conditions

Fixed-term contract for approx. 2 years with possibility of extension, full-time.

Start date: 2026-08-10
