Hello! I am a 34-year-old man moving from Stockholm to central Nyköping this summer with my relatives. I am now looking for you who want to work as a Personal Assistant (Day and Evening shifts) for me and who want to help build a new support team on site.

I have 24-hour support and need assistance throughout my daily life. During the day and evening, the work involves being a secure support in activities, routines, and rest – and creating structure and calm in everyday life.

I communicate using picture and sign language, so it is important that you are attentive, calm, and curious to learn how to understand me and my way of expressing myself.

About the position:

• Approximately 30 hours per week
• Work according to a day/evening schedule, including every other weekend
• If needed, it is a plus if you are open to working awake nights
• Opportunity for team leader responsibilities for the right person
• Staffing responsibility for approx. 4 days/week, possibly more during the start-up phase as the team is initially small

I am looking for you who are:

• Independent and self-assured
• Calm, stable, and responsible
• Proactive and solution-focused
• Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions in daily life

You must have good Swedish in both speech and writing.

Experience with personal assistance, similar work, or epilepsy is meritorious but not a requirement.

It is also important that:

• You are non-smoking
• You are not allergic to or afraid of dogs

Start date: The start coincides with my move to Nyköping, sometime between mid-July and the end of July. It is an advantage if you have the opportunity to start the introduction in Stockholm before then.
