Your role

In this role, you will maintain and develop 24 V electrical systems on underground drill rigs.

In your daily work, you will design and perform analysis, simulation, cable harnesses, and component selection.

We are now looking for an engineer with specialized knowledge of electrical and hardware-based systems. The role involves responsibility for developing, implementing, and adapting our electrical systems in terms of hardware, system architecture, and functionality to meet requirements regarding performance, availability, and safety. The electrical systems used on our machines operate in the 24 V voltage range.

You will work in a project-based manner on new development projects, product maintenance, base development, and customer orders. You will have close contact with other departments, such as service, purchasing, and marketing, as well as contacts with customers and suppliers worldwide.

Creating design solutions based on functional requirements, specifying and developing systems and components in collaboration with sub-suppliers, and verifying the performance of the final product will be a key part of your work.

This position is located in Örebro.

Your profile

You have a university degree in electronics or electrical engineering, or similar experience. We believe you have several years of professional experience within electrical and/or control systems or other highly qualified engineering backgrounds. Experience in electronic hardware design is meritorious.

To enjoy the work, you are a quick learner and not afraid of challenges. You are self-driven, responsible, and effectively plan your work to meet deadlines. You have a structured and analytical approach, enjoy combining theory and practice, and like working with details to get the job done. You are accustomed to taking ideas from an initial concept to serial production.

Furthermore, you enjoy teamwork and a collaborative environment where communication is key. Since your work involves many local and global contacts, fluent English skills (verbal and written) are required, and a good understanding of Swedish is a strong advantage.

Do you have experience with PLM systems, CAD systems, and vehicle electrics for mobile machinery? This is seen as meritorious.
