Description

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 4–6 with qualifications to teach mathematics, Swedish, English, and Natural Sciences (NO).

Welcome to Flatåsskolan, a school covering grades F–6 (preschool class to grade 6) with approximately 600 students. The school has pleasant facilities and an inspiring schoolyard with beautiful nature surrounding it.

Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you will create the conditions for students' knowledge development to reach the goals set out in the curriculum and course plans. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work, as well as work towards a safe and stimulating learning environment. Furthermore, you will be responsible for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' development. You will contribute to collegial learning and pedagogical work, as well as develop teaching to achieve higher goal fulfillment. We focus extra on creating accessible learning environments for all students, as we are convinced that all students do the right thing if they can!

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with at least the qualifications to teach Swedish (Swedish as a first or second language), mathematics, and English at the intermediate level. Broader subject competence and qualifications in Natural Sciences are meritorious.

As a person, you have the ability to work systematically, clearly, and be low-affective in your interaction with students. You truly believe that students do the right thing if they can. You are well acquainted with our governing documents, and the students' learning and the development of teaching are your primary and greatest focus, in harmony with the students' well-being. Collaborating in work teams is second nature to us – we make each other better.
