What we do and want

Infrastructure and Service is one of three units within the Digitalization Department and is responsible for the municipality's entire IT environment. We manage a high degree of IT services in-house and also coordinate the procurement of IT equipment for the municipality's administrations. The unit accounts for approximately half of the Digitalization Department, which consists of around 40 employees. Our operations aim for cost-efficiency, are demand-driven, and are based on the municipality's common needs for support services.

About the position

We are now looking for an additional employee for our Service Desk. In this role, you will handle most of the tickets coming in from our customers in other parts of the municipality via phone, email, or ticketing system. The Service Desk resolves a large portion of incoming tickets directly, while escalating others to different functions and roles within the department.

We also offer drop-in support for a few hours each day, staffed by the Service Desk employees. We collaborate closely with Internal Services to provide the best possible employee support.

Documenting solutions and keeping knowledge articles up to date is a natural part of the job.

We are looking for someone who learns new things easily, is self-motivated, but also enjoys working closely with colleagues and constantly finding solutions and improvements.

Who are you?

You have a high school education or equivalent and have worked for at least three years in support within a Service Desk or Help Desk. You enjoy helping others, providing support, and solving problems.

Experience with an ITIL-oriented way of working is an advantage.

You are a good listener and pedagogical, and have a talent for speaking and explaining clearly. We place great importance on personal qualities.

You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English.
