Haninge Municipality is a forward-thinking municipality. In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-line social services structure, a step in adapting to the future of social services and the new Social Services Act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by application and investigation. Our work is based on a target group focus, where we investigate and coordinate interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other societal actors.

The operation consists of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and special functions, and a unit for foster care and contact activities. This includes three groups within child investigation, two groups within youth, one intervention group, as well as intensive investigation, foster care/contact activities, family therapy/parental support, as well as administrative tasks and other support functions. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and the operation as a whole by an area manager. We work in a family-oriented and team-based manner based on the target groups.

As part of our operational development, we wish to expand with social secretaries whose role is to serve as internal consultants, a resource for the authority side within the Children's area. We are now seeking experienced social secretaries who, together with us, want to be challenged and be part of our exciting development.

Your Assignment

• As a social secretary with the role of internal consultant, you will receive time-limited assignments within the Children's area.
• When needed, such as high workload or difficult and complex cases, other groups apply for additional staffing in the form of an internal consultant.
• An assignment within investigation for ages 0–17 involves investigating the need for protection and support for children and young people, as well as handling any legal processes.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 9 months with the possibility of extension.

Your Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (Social Worker).
• Extensive experience working within the authority function of social services for children and young people.
• Structured – i.e., able to organize, plan, and coordinate.
• Correct Swedish in speech and writing.
• Knowledge of BBIC.
• Knowledge of Signs of Safety.
• Driver's license is desirable.

Your Competencies

As a social secretary with the role of internal consultant, you are expected to work independently. You easily build good relationships, you are receptive, and clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research. You must have the ability to limit your scope and work calmly and methodically with complex issues.

We are looking for someone who can see the possibilities in complex social work, finds it easy to collaborate, is flexible, curious, and has the best interests of the children in focus. We consider it a given that you are responsible, have integrity, and value quality.
