Åseda Health Centre is located in Uppvidinge Municipality and has approximately 3,600 registered patients. Here, patients receive care and treatment throughout their lives, with special clinics for child health/family centre, elderly care, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. In our work, we value good treatment, good accessibility, and always work with the patient at the centre. We operate both a child health centre and have an elderly care clinic in collaboration with Lenhovda Health Centre.

Job Responsibilities

The best thing about working as a district nurse/registered nurse at a health centre is meeting patients of all ages and in all life situations. We receive children, adults, and elderly people who need advice or care. Some we meet very rarely, others more regularly. We work from both a health-promoting and disease-preventive perspective, as well as dealing with acute symptoms.

Your duties will include telephone advice, booking appointments, and clinic work. If you are interested, there are good opportunities to deepen your knowledge within some of our specialist clinics based on your competence, experience, and interest.

As a district nurse/registered nurse within primary care, you will also contribute your competence to our on-call doctor centre. There, we are available for our citizens on weekends and weekdays after 5 PM. Many of us share this task, and we offer you a special introduction to the on-call doctor centre, all to ensure you feel secure and can develop in your role.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a district nurse or a registered nurse, preferably with experience from a health centre or clinic work. For those who are registered nurses, there are opportunities for further education.
