In this role, you will become a central part of a small but competent team with broad areas of responsibility. You ensure that the properties meet current legal requirements, authority regulations, and technical standards. The role involves monitoring and proposing improvements and savings in areas such as ventilation, electricity, fire protection, operations, and energy optimization, as well as identifying and proposing energy-saving measures.

You handle and prioritize incoming property cases and serve as a central contact point for suppliers, contractors, landlords, and authorities. Furthermore, you support site managers, regional managers, and leadership in technical property-related matters.

The role also includes responsibility for property management and energy monitoring systems, budget and cost tracking related to maintenance and renovation projects, as well as the creation of documentation, presentations, and decision-making materials. You also actively contribute to developing routines, processes, and working methods within the department.

The role involves travel within Sweden as needed, and you are expected to enjoy being out in the field to build relationships and understand the different conditions of the properties.

We are looking for someone who has

  • Post-secondary education in property technology, property management, or equivalent

  • At least five years of experience as a Technical Property Manager, Operations Technician, or from a similar role in technical property management

  • Good knowledge of property-related laws, authority requirements, and standards

  • Technical understanding of HVAC, ventilation, and electrical systems

  • Good knowledge of fire protection and fire safety

  • Very good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written

  • Class B driver's license and readiness to travel for work as needed

We consider the following as meritorious

  • Experience with property security systems such as access control, video surveillance, and alarms

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • Experience in reading and interpreting lease agreements and contract-related agreements

  • Experience in project management regarding renovations or property development

  • Experience in energy saving and sustainability work within property management

To succeed and thrive in this role, you are an independent, proactive, and driven person who likes to take responsibility and drive your work forward. You are structured, unpretentious, and solution-oriented, while also having the ability to switch between strategic issues and practical challenges in everyday life. The role suits you if you like variety, can prioritize among several issues simultaneously, and have a genuine interest in technology and property management.
