Regardless of your specific tasks, you will make life a little easier for everyone who lives and works here. And that is something we value highly. Our vision is to be a close-knit municipality with the human being at the center. Close to each other, our surroundings, and the future. We want to be a present society that, with calm and warmth, supports our 35,000 residents, 3,600 employees, and thousands of business owners. When we do this, every employee becomes significant. Together, we ensure that an entire society functions.
In the autumn of 2021, Lyckeskolan opened, integrating the adapted primary school with the regular primary school. The school was built to offer all students an inspiring and safe learning environment. We find safety in our own home area on the ground floor, where most of our teaching takes place in fantastic facilities adapted for our student group.
We are a unit that has chosen to work in a genuinely student-centered manner. We place great emphasis on the student's unique learning processes; we pause, observe, and adapt to where the student is today. Here, you have the space to be creative and flexible with the goal of creating a safe and inspiring arena where every individual can grow based on their own prerequisites. The adapted primary school is a growing form of education in Marks Municipality, and there are good opportunities for participation in shaping the future of the adapted primary school. Take the chance to work at the adapted primary school at Lyckeskolan. Together, we lay a stable foundation for the students' future!

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary from supporting the student in learning processes during lessons to assisting during changing situations in the pool and after sports. We work around each student as a theme, where the teacher holds the main responsibility. Together with the teacher, other student assistants, and school health professionals, you support the student in their learning and social situations. Teaching takes place in smaller groups to create good prerequisites for the students. All our students have unique needs, with some requiring good physical fitness. You must be able to move freely and keep up with an energetic student, as well as support a student who needs lifting assistance.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are interested in working as a student assistant within the adapted primary school. You have upper secondary education, for example, from the Child and Youth Care program, the Nursing program, or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. The work involves adapting to the students, and you need to be flexible throughout the workday and able to adapt quickly to changes in the daily structure. You are comfortable in swimming situations and can swim in public pools with chlorinated water.
Meritorious qualifications include knowledge of intellectual disabilities as well as experience with children with neuropsychiatric functional variations and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Knowledge of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and visual supports is also considered meritorious. It is desirable that you have worked with similar tasks previously.
You are calm and meet the students with a low-affective approach. Your attitude is that children do right if they can, and you adapt your interaction and communication to create prerequisites for students to interpret different situations and contexts. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement, and your approach contributes to developing the students' independence.
