About the Operations

The Regional Executive Office has three main tasks:

• To steer and support operations based on legislation and regulations.
• To offer support and service to the operations' processes and development.
• To provide support and high-quality assignments to the political trust organization and the regional management.

The IT Support business area is tasked with developing and managing overarching and common processes for the area. It is also responsible for services within these parts. Our operations are mainly located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The business area's mission is to deliver high-quality and secure IT services and telephony to the region's operations. Deliveries are made through projects, maintenance, and support for a complex and life-sustaining operation. IT also works extensively as the client organization since large parts of the region's IT operations are handled by external suppliers. We are in an intense period with continued development of the medical record system Cosmic, and the position focuses on work with operation-oriented maintenance and development.

We are now looking for a specialist to the Business Area Care Support and E-Health in Region Västernorrland. The unit is responsible for the system maintenance of a hundred healthcare systems, e-services via 1177. The maintenance organization delivers maintenance products to the region's target groups to enable an efficient care process. The object aims to support health and social care regarding, for example, care administration, care documentation, handling of medicines, orders and responses, e-services, and more.

Job Information

The position is a permanent employment with start date according to agreement. If needed, the opportunity for clinical work may be provided for a part of the position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training needs and plan training initiatives for healthcare operations.
• Report status on your work to the Project Manager.
• Ensure quality assurance of documentation.
• Contribute to ensuring that approved activities in the maintenance plan are fulfilled.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary education in a field relevant to the position, or equivalent knowledge acquired through other experience that the employer deems suitable.
• Have good knowledge of the healthcare information system Cosmic.
• Have a good understanding of digitalization and its possibilities to improve operations.
• Hold a valid B-class driver's license.

It is meritorious if you

• Have education in IT, nursing, medical secretary, or other clinical education.
• Have experience independently driving assignments or smaller projects.
• Have experience of system maintenance, clinical care training, and/or ITIL/PM3.
