Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for assistant nurses who wish to work within elderly care, primarily based at Lessebo's home care service. Here, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you meet people with different backgrounds and needs, and where you, together with colleagues, contribute to creating a safe and dignified daily life for those we serve.

As an assistant nurse, you work based on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), providing individually adapted support and nursing care. The tasks include personal care and nursing, activation, and social interaction, as well as contributing to a meaningful daily life through activities such as outdoor visits and exercise. The role also includes service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal handling, and shopping. Documentation is an important part of the job, and you are responsible for continuous documentation in the operation's journal system. You also perform delegated health and medical care tasks, such as medication management. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, and duties may take place at different units within the municipality depending on operational needs.

Working Hours: Primarily evenings and weekends.
Extent: 50–75 %

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse and preferably have experience working in elderly care, especially within dementia care or home care. You are confident in your professional role and have a professional and respectful attitude. As a person, you are solution-focused, flexible, and easy to collaborate with, while also being able to work independently and handle a varying work pace. You have a genuine interest in people and always put the individual in focus, with a desire to create quality of life and add value to everyday life.

You have good communication and collaboration skills with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues, and contribute to a positive work climate.

Requirements:

• Assistant Nurse education
• Category B driving license
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Ability to cycle
