We are looking for

We are looking for you who have a Swedish license as a physician. You must have a B driver's license. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the Sami language and Sami cultural competence, as well as experience with the Cosmic system.

What you will work with

Working at a health center in a rural area means you will work with a broad spectrum of patients. We have several special housing facilities and a general medicine department at the health center, making the work here varied, broad, and developmental. The health center also houses a resource center for Sami health with a main focus on mental health. Through mentoring by experienced colleagues, and if you speak Sami, you have the opportunity for Sami-speaking supervision.

If you, like several of us who work at the health center in Jokkmokk, are interested in outdoor life, then the proximity to the mountains, ski slopes, hiking trails, and rivers is a big plus. The cultural offerings in the municipality are good for a relatively small town. Cinema, concerts, dining options, and many leisure activities for children and adults are all within walking distance in cozy Jokkmokk. Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position. The working hours are during the day, with start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
