We are looking for a registered nurse with good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to join our infectious diseases department.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are structured, have strong communication skills, and are quality-conscious. You have the ability to understand other people's perspectives while seeing the bigger picture and making decisions based on both your role and the best interests of the organization.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a registered nurse. It is an advantage if you have completed the Infectious Diseases course (15.60 credits), have knowledge of the medical record systems Cosmic and Life Care, and have experience from infectious disease care and ward work.
To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have good judgment and can make well-founded decisions, even in complex situations. You are communicative and have an easy time building trusting relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you have good empathetic skills and a professional approach. About the role
On the ward, you work as a nurse in a team with experienced assistant nurses, doctors, and other professional groups – always with the patient in focus. In our work group, we have good cohesion, we help each other, and we value development and job satisfaction highly.
As a nurse in the infectious diseases department, you are responsible for the care of patients with varying monitoring needs, together with your assistant nurses. Our patients have fluctuating care needs, which creates a varied work pace with sometimes rapid changes in patients' conditions. No two days are alike here.
As a nurse, you are responsible for leading and distributing work within the team, and together with your colleagues, you ensure a good working environment. You will learn a great deal about both infectious and non-infectious diseases. We care for patients with common illnesses such as pneumonia and urinary tract infections, but also patients with hepatitis, malaria, heart valve infections, and infections in the skeleton and brain. You will become an expert in transmission routes and infection control and will meet patients from all over the world.
