At Paramedicine, we meet colleagues from various professional groups within paramedicine and outpatient rehabilitation on a daily basis. We exchange experiences and support each other. Often, we collaborate in different teams where the patient's illness, care, and rehabilitation are the focus.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with a B driving license and good Swedish skills. It is an advantage if you have a certificate in stroke competence in hand rehabilitation and experience from previous work in healthcare.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are independent and take responsibility for planning, prioritizing, and driving your work forward. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work climate by being receptive and communicative.

As a person, you are stable and keep your calm even in challenging situations, which enables you to make well-founded decisions and act professionally when meeting patients and their relatives.

What you will work with

Within the occupational therapy unit, you work with the investigation and assessment of adult patients' ability to perform activities, as well as initial rehabilitation. You meet patients at both the joint reception and the hospital's somatic wards. The work is often carried out together with, for example, a physiotherapist.

We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills, as the work requires collaboration with other professions and operations. You should be attentive and accommodating in your approach and have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others. We also see that you understand how people absorb knowledge and can adapt your working methods based on people's different conditions. You should have good communication skills and adapt your way of conveying the message to the recipient.

Information about the position

The position is permanent, full-time, daytime. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
