About the Social Services Administration

Job Responsibilities

The role of assistant nurse/care aide involves assisting users according to their individual needs regarding personal care, meals, transfers, activities, etc. An important task is to support the healthy among the users. This means providing them with support and encouragement to continue doing what they can manage themselves.

We place great emphasis on continuity in care and work with the individual's best interest at the center. Our goal is for users to experience dignity and well-being to the greatest extent possible. We work flexibly in collaboration between Videgården and Home Care Karesuando.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who primarily have studied the Nursing and Care Program at the upper secondary level. It is meritorious if you have experience in care work and knowledge of dementia diseases. It is also meritorious if you master Finnish, Meänkieli, or Sami.

The work requires medical care tasks after delegation by a nurse. The work also includes documentation in the Combine system. A Class B driver's license is required. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
