Do you want a central role on the Infectious Diseases Department, where you can combine planning, coordination, and close collaboration with colleagues and managers? We are looking for you who want to work as a Team Leader/Coordinator.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. Experience with the medical record systems Cosmic and LifeCare is an advantage, as is experience from working in inpatient care.

You have a holistic perspective, collaborate well, and act with the best interests of the operation in focus. You demonstrate clear leadership by creating engagement and involvement, and you take initiative and drive the work forward with responsibility and independence.

What you will work with

We are looking for a team leader on the department who, in their role, contributes to efficient patient flow, schedule planning, staffing, and handling of short-term absences. You will function as a support for the unit manager in daily operations, both administratively and in terms of staff supervision. You will lead the work group, drive the operation forward, and support employees to achieve common goals.

On the department, we work in teams with experienced nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors, as well as other professional categories – with the patient in focus. In our work group, we have good cohesion, we help each other, and we value development and job satisfaction highly.

On the Infectious Diseases Department, we work with patients who have varying monitoring needs. Our patients have a fluctuating care need that gives a varying work pace with sometimes rapid changes in the patients' condition. No day is like another here.

You will learn a great deal about both infectious and non-infectious diseases. We care for patients with common diseases such as pneumonia and urinary tract infections, but also patients with hepatitis, malaria, infections of heart valves, bones, and the brain. You will become an expert in transmission routes and care hygiene, and we care for patients from all over the world.

Information about the position

The position is permanent, full-time, day shifts. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
