Your Role

You will teach vocational subjects within the Sales and Service Programme. We view collaboration and relationship-building as the most important success factors in the teaching profession. As an employee at Karlbergsgymnasiet, you and your colleagues in the work team will jointly take responsibility for the students' entire school situation.

Your role includes working to improve the working environment for both students and colleagues, creating the best possible conditions for students' knowledge development and sense of security at school.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in teams to focus on the student's learning and social development. In addition to actively contributing to the development of the work team, we value close collaboration with student health services, school leadership, and other staff. As a teacher here, you help create a school where all students have the opportunity to achieve their goals and where learning is experienced as meaningful, stimulating, fun, and secure. You find the interaction with students to be the primary driving force in your work as a teacher.

All teachers at Karlbergsgymnasiet are expected to be interested in mentorship roles and in conducting active value-based work in everyday life. For this position, personal competencies are highly valued.

Formal Qualifications

• Teacher education with eligibility to teach vocational courses on the Sales and Service Programme.
• Digital identification with Bank ID.
• Category B driver's license.

Merits

• Work experience in sales and service.
• Eligibility to teach common upper secondary school subjects.
• Extensive experience in working with extra adjustments and special support is meritorious but not a requirement. The same applies to experience, habit, and interest in digitalization work in schools.
• In the event of employment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Permanent position at 100% with a start date of 2026-08-12 or as agreed. The employment may begin with a probationary period. The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made. The position is currently located at Karlbergsgymnasiet, within the Culture and Education Administration, which is organized directly under the Culture and Education Committee. The direct supervisor is the principal of one of the school units at Karlbergsgymnasiet.
