Daytime Activity within LSS – Prima Hund is Hiring

We are looking for an engaged and secure employee for our daytime activity within LSS (the Swedish Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), where dogs, community, and individual development are at the center.

About Prima Hund

Prima Hund is a daytime activity under the LSS framework where participants have the opportunity to develop through meaningful activities together with dogs. Here, care, pedagogy, and animal contact are combined in a warm and inclusive environment.

We work individually tailored and focus on creating structure, participation, and joy in everyday life.

About the Role

As an employee here, you work closely with our participants in daily operations. You provide support, motivation, and create a sense of security while you together take care of the dogs and carry out the activities of the operation.

Responsibilities

The tasks may include, among other things:

• Support and guidance for participants in daily life
• Activities together with dogs
• Walks and basic dog care
• Social training and motivational work
• Documentation and collaboration with colleagues and relatives
• Contributing to a positive and secure environment

We are looking for someone who

• Has a genuine interest in people and dogs
• Is secure, responsible, and empathetic
• Has experience working within LSS, care, or social work
• Is flexible and has good collaboration skills
• Can work in a structured and independent manner

Preferred Qualifications

We preferably see male applicants. If you have been active in club life or are sports-interested, that is extra positive. Additional preferred qualifications include:

• Education in healthcare and care or pedagogy
• Experience with dog operations or dog training
• Knowledge of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF)
