We are now looking for employees who want to work at Holmängenskolan, located on the outskirts of central Vänersborg. It is a newly built school that opened in the autumn semester of 2024. Holmängenskolan | Vänersborg Municipality (https://www.vanersborg.se) Approximately 300 students in grades F-6 attend the school, which also includes an after-school center. Approximately 40 adults with various vocational educations work here.

We are looking for a certified teacher for the after-school center who is engaged and wants to help drive and develop our operations at our new school. We warmly welcome your application!

Responsibilities:

• Work towards municipality-wide goals: You actively contribute to achieving the goals set for Children and Education within Vänersborg Municipality.
• Goals for operations at Holmängenskolan: You work towards the specific goals for operations at Holmängenskolan and ensure that the operations maintain high quality and are adapted to the students' needs.
• Planning of after-school activities: Together with colleagues, you plan and implement activities that promote students' development and well-being.
• Contact with guardians: Create secure relationships and work for good cooperation between home, after-school, and school.
• The after-school center: Planning, implementation, and evaluation of the pedagogical activities related to the curriculum and operational goals.
• Teaching in school: During the school day, you will work with students where you, on behalf of the teaching teacher, contribute to the students' development. If you have the qualifications to teach certain subjects, this may become relevant.
• Substitute: If necessary, when regular staff is absent, there may be occasions where you need to substitute in a class/group.

Qualifications

• Certified teacher for the after-school center.
