Tidavads Skola is a small school for grades F-6 located in a beautiful natural environment, where cows graze outside the windows. The preschool facilities are also integrated with the school, creating opportunities for joint projects and secure relationships for our total of 90 students.

About the Position

For the 2026/2027 school year, we are looking for a primary school teacher for grades 4-6 to teach mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), Technology, Physical Education and Health, and Music.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), Technology, Physical Education and Health, and Music, you will teach grades 4-6 and be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the teaching.

In this role, you shape the teaching from a holistic perspective, encouraging students to want to and dare to try methods and solutions, and to develop confidence in their abilities in various contexts. You also recognize the importance of differentiating the teaching setup and lesson content based on the needs of the student group.

You are part of a team of ten educators at the school, including teachers and leisure center staff. You will collaborate closely with the student health team to work preventively and promotively towards the goals of education.

The position is full-time, permanent, and starts in August 2026.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6 and have teaching eligibility in several of the subjects: mathematics, Natural Sciences (NO), Technology, Physical Education and Health, and Music. Previous experience from the school world is meritorious.

As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and trustworthy. You have a secure and inspiring leadership style for children and have the ability to build good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are creative and resourceful, and have an easy time adapting to the individual student's needs and prerequisites. We also see that you are development-oriented with the ability to plan, document, and evaluate the operations based on current governing documents.

A B-class driver's license is required for the position.
