Virun Care & Treatment is looking for a manager for our special housing facility in Mellösa, Flen Municipality.

Virun Care & Treatment is a newly opened special housing facility for elderly individuals with intellectual disabilities, located in the quiet and nature-rich area of Mellösa in Flen Municipality, Södermanland.

We offer secure and needs-adapted housing in accordance with Chapter 26, Section 1 of the Social Services Act (SoL), with 17 places for special housing and a unit with 5 places for short-term care.

About the Role

The role of manager involves leading the operations and meeting the requirements to be approved as a permit holder by the Swedish Health and Care Inspectorate (IVO).

We are looking for someone who is professional, confident, and has a strong moral compass. You have the ability to make well-founded decisions and take responsibility for the quality of the operations. You are structured, empathetic, and responsive in your interactions with staff, residents, and relatives, and you collaborate easily both internally and externally.

As a manager, you build trust and promote a positive work culture through an open, accommodating, and solution-focused approach. You have a good understanding of relevant laws and regulations and ensure that the operations work in accordance with current guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operations in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Social Services Ordinance (SOSF).
• Be responsible for staff, supervision, and competence development.
• Plan, follow up, and document individual care plans.
• Ensure that working methods and approaches are evidence-based, appropriate, and respect the individual's self-determination and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal and external actors to provide the best possible care and support.
• Work systematically with quality assurance, risk assessment, and safety routines.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant university education, such as a registered nurse or social worker.
• Has experience working in special housing and within psychiatry.
• Has experience in leadership and personnel responsibility.
• Has personal suitability for overall responsibility for operations, staff, and target group.
• Meets the requirements to be approved by IVO as a manager.

Employment
