nxtME is looking for a full-time Digital Communicator for a project funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (Arvsfonden). We are creating two experiential feature films about PTSD/complex PTSD following sexual violence. We do this together with the target group, with the vision of creating recognition, insight, and hope. The pilot film is produced in September and the longer film in February/March.

What the role involves:

Before the film is released — help us find people from the target group who want to be involved in shaping the content, and maintain continuous outward communication during the research phase.

When the film is released — spread it to the right people in the right way, both through targeted channels (organizations, women's shelters, support groups, healthcare, universities) and through broader digital marketing where the target group is active.

Important: The film and the project are constantly evolving, the target group's needs become clearer, and new opportunities arise. This means that your job description may change over time.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Drives your own work forward, is results-oriented, and takes initiative based on the project's goals, but anchors these with the team.
  • Has experience in shaping your own role. You can give us concrete examples of when you have done this and what results it created.
  • Is passionate about the issue. You have a clear "why" for this specific subject.
  • Works in Stockholm, on-site. This is a co-creation project, and we believe in working closely together.

Specific tasks (at present):

  • Targeted communication to reach the target group and find participants.
  • Ongoing outward communication during the research and production phases.
  • Social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Google Ads).
  • Update web content and drive email marketing (newsletters, targeted mailings).
  • Dissemination via partner organizations — women's shelters, support groups, youth organizations, healthcare, and academia.
  • Produce communication materials, text, images, film.
  • Document the project's process for reporting to Arvsfonden.

Merits:

  • Experience in film production in some form. You understand the process from idea to finished film, and can therefore build communication around the film that actually works. Preferably through film clips, among other things.
  • Experience working with AI as part of your daily work. We use AI actively and believe it is a big part of why we can do more with a smaller team.
  • Experience with tools such as WordPress, Canva, Affinity Designer, MailChimp, Google Ads, or similar.

Employment:

  • Start date as agreed.
  • Three-year project, totaling approximately two and a half years from September.
  • Location: Stockholm, on-site.
  • The role begins with a 6-month probationary period.
