Your new role

We are currently looking for an operational and analytical economic consultant for our client in Lund. This assignment is suitable for you who are confident in economic work, can quickly get up to speed with new tasks, and thrive in a role where you can combine analysis, transactional flows, and improvement work.

In this role, you will support the client's finance function in an ongoing change process. The focus is on understanding existing tasks and flows, identifying potential for improvement, and contributing to work being performed in a more efficient and value-creating way.

You will work closely with the Head of Controller and the finance management team. Therefore, the role requires you to be self-sufficient, structured, and comfortable with both analyzing the current state and providing concrete improvement proposals.

Your main responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Supporting the finance function in ongoing change and efficiency work.
• Working with economic tasks related to transactions and analysis.
• Mapping and analyzing existing tasks, flows, and processes.
• Identifying potential for improvement and suggesting more efficient ways of working.
• Contributing to eliminating or reducing tasks that do not create value.
• Ensuring that tasks are placed where they best belong in the organization.
• Working with economic analysis and follow-up in Excel.
• Contributing to an understanding of how automation and digitalization can streamline economic work.
• Working closely with the Head of Controller and the finance management team on issues related to analysis, structure, and improvement.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• Experience in economic analysis and process improvement.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Understanding of automation or digitalization within finance.
• You are independent, solution-oriented, and accustomed to quickly getting up to speed with new tasks.
• It is meritorious if you have experience in economic work related to transactions and analysis.
• It is meritorious if you have knowledge of digital tools, such as Qlik.
• It is meritorious if you have previous experience from the energy sector or from larger operations.
