On the support staff within the Division for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity, you will work in a small group consisting of business developers and controllers. Together, the support staff has a broad mandate spanning many areas of responsibility, such as budget work, business follow-up, security and preparedness, and coordination of IT development, to name a few. The support staff supports the division manager and division leadership, and the work is carried out in close collaboration with our business areas and other parts of the agency.

Business Development, Analysis, and Internal Collaboration

As a business developer, you are responsible for driving and supporting business development that contributes to the realization of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission. You also have a responsibility to identify development needs and translate them into concrete activities.

The role involves monitoring and staying well-informed about current societal developments relevant to the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, as well as analyzing potential consequences for the business based on this. The work also includes participating in various networks and, among other things, contributing to preparatory work, business planning, and annual reports. You will drive various types of development projects and work across many different business areas/functions. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be considered equivalent
  • has several years of experience working in the relevant business area and/or business development
  • has very good knowledge of change and development processes
  • has good knowledge of project management and different forms of collaboration
  • acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • has the ability to create a useful network
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • brings innovative ideas and solutions that promote development
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has good communication skills, both oral and written.

It is an advantage if you

  • have experience working in the relevant business area
  • have experience working in a large public organization
  • have an understanding of digitalization and automation
  • have previously worked within a support staff at a government agency
  • have previous managerial experience
  • have a good understanding of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission.

Other Information

One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Remote work opportunities exist if the work allows. In this recruitment, work psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Location: Office location at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency where the division is currently represented.
