Landvetterskolan is located in central Landvetter and is a school for grades 4–9 with approximately 640 students. The school has good bus connections to Borås and Gothenburg, and you can easily take the Red Express (Röd Express) without changing buses. Here, you will meet engaged students and staff with high job satisfaction.

For the past 4.5 years, Landvetterskolan has participated in an evidence-based, school-wide model called PALS, aimed at systematizing health-promoting and preventive work. The PALS work involves long-term, systematic quality work focused on school culture, providing staff with tools to handle and prevent behavioral issues and better support students in achieving good academic performance and improved results. Our school's guiding principles are Care, Responsibility, and Respect, which were developed through the PALS work.

Your role

We are looking for you who want to make a difference for our students and, together with your colleagues, strive to contribute to their development and learning. We are seeking a certified teacher in Home Economics for grades 6–9. It is an advantage if you also have a teaching certification in another subject. In this role, you will collaborate with other educators and work within grade-based teams. In addition to being a subject teacher, you will also serve as a mentor for a class.

Requirements for the position

• Teaching certification with eligibility for grades 6–9.
• Strong ability to build relationships.
• Experience and knowledge within the NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) field.
• Clear leadership skills.
• Good teamwork abilities.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register of Offenses must be presented. An extract from the Suspicion Register may also be required depending on the duties of the position.
