Within the support staff of the Division for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity, you will work in a small group consisting of business developers and controllers. Together, the support staff has a broad mandate spanning many areas of responsibility, such as budgeting, business monitoring, security and preparedness, and coordination of IT development, to name a few. The support staff supports the division manager and division leadership, and the work is carried out in close collaboration with our business areas and other parts of the agency.
Management support, development work, and analysis
In your role as a controller at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you are responsible for ensuring that the division manager and division leadership have access to the support needed to lead and manage the operations. The role of controller also involves managing both operations, economy, and resources. This means you are responsible for analyzing and interpreting production flows, operational results, and financial results within your area of responsibility. The role of controller also implies business development from a broader perspective.
You serve as a central support for production and resource management and contribute to efficient resource utilization, for example, by creating production plans or flow analyses. At the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, we actively work with continuous improvements. You participate in relevant forums and networks both within the division and at the agency. The work also includes preparing materials for monitoring, and you contribute to the development work within the division where you act as management support. As an employee at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you have a high level of security awareness as the agency deals with confidential information.

We are looking for someone who
- has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
- acts on own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- works to achieve results with high quality
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- has good communication skills, both verbal and written

- has a systematic and meticulous work approach.
It is an advantage if you
- have experience working as a controller within a support staff, preferably within a larger agency
- have experience with change management
- have good pedagogical skills
- are accustomed to independent work and have a high degree of initiative
- have experience working and driving development projects together with others
- have a good understanding of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's mission.

One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply.
