About Viljan Active Care - HVB Sandgatan

Active HVB Sandgatan is a residential care facility located in Linköping, receiving young people aged 16–20 for individual treatment within our apartment concept. We work actively and goal-oriented to create a safe, trust-building, and meaningful learning environment for our young residents.

About the role of Treatment Pedagogue

Here, you work together in a team with various professions, jointly guiding the young people's treatment processes forward. We work with engagement in everything concerning our young people. The role involves meeting people in crisis and/or with difficult life situations. It is crucial that you can see possibilities, convey hope, and treat people in a respectful and secure manner. Together with the young person, you create a functional and safe daily life where you train together from an environmental therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

You are inspiring and relationship-building, with a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and able to maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills, relate to others in a listening manner, and enjoy working together with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can identify individual needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Graduate social worker, behavioral scientist, or social and cultural analyst, or alternatively a graduated social pedagogue with a minimum of 400 YH (University College) credits.
• Previous experience working with children and young people, preferably in HVB (residential care) settings.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits:

• Experience with case processing at authorities.
• Basic psychotherapy training, step 1.
• Further education in MI (Motivational Interviewing), AP (Assertiveness Training), TMO, and similar.
